Catch21 Productions celebrates its 10th Anniversary this month!

That’s right readers we have hit the big 10. We would never have thought we’d last this long when we sat down as a group of students all those years ago in the student union at the University of Hull – but we have!

To mark the occasion, and in order to continue with our work of getting more young people involved in their communities through film making, we’d like to ask for your help by making a donation!

We are looking to raise a £1,000 between now and the end of the month to purchase a new camera so we can make more films! You can make a donation via PayPal via the below link or by making a BACS payment directly from your bank account to ours. If you contact us directly via e-mail on we can then send you our details.

We will be sure to update you on our running total at the end of each week here too

A short documentary talking about Transport For London, we then ask the public what they think.

Scottish Independence Referendum, 2014

Catch21 has just launched a new video project about the Scottish Independence Referendum taking place on Thursday 18th September 2014. The Scottish Independence Referendum will be a key moment in the history of the United Kingdom. Whichever way the referendum goes, it will have an enormous effect on the economy, politics and international relations of both Scotland and the rest of the UK. As part of this project we have launched three videos about the referendum. Our first video introduces the referendum and the issues surrounding it, a second presents the case for the No vote and the final video argues why Scotland should vote Yes. These videos have been produced by our volunteers who have been trained by the Catch21 team. They form part of our aim to get more young people involved in politics and current affairs, and are inline with our core values of Engagement, Discussion and Empowerment. You can find these videos on our YouTube Channel. Please watch them, share them to your friends and family, and join the debate on the Catch21 Blog!

Follow #Scotland2014, our YouTube Channel and of course @catch21p for updates!
