Image © After last weeks news concerning the Arts Council England's decision on funding, here is an update on a couple of projects which were successful in their bid for funding. The first project A New Direction is an organisation that works with and for young Londoners, providing powerful ways for them to access the best of arts and culture. Their ethos is to allow young people to experience creativity which in turn can build happiness, personal fulfillment and life skills. A project called Curious Project 6 also caught my eye, the project was developed by the north west based organistion Curious Minds. The project itself aims to engage young people in the regeneration & renewal of their community, through the medium of an online community. The forums aims to be a network for people to connect, inspire others, be a resource for seeking funding and to help share good practice. Bringing communities together and allowing young people to connect with one another within their community is a create way to help them develop life skills which is why I focused on these projects. I would like to express my personal congratulation to these and all the other project whom were successful in their bid for funding.
