This 'AV Referendum - It's Your Choice' film looks at the arguments behind the AV Referendum 5th May 2011. The films complements a range of downloadable teaching resources available on www.ycsay.co.uk.
The Co-operative and the Institute for Citizenship hosted the Young Citizens' Say: Referendum 2011 event for over 250 young people at the Emmanuel Centre, Westminster on Thursday 31st March 2011 to discuss politics and the upcoming AV Referendum.
In this short film, our special guests look at 'AV Referendum - It's Your Choice'. This film produced by Catch 21 Productions features Dermot Murnaghan (Sky News), Mark Harper MP (Minister for Political and Constitutional Reform), Simon Hughes MP (Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats), Wes Streeting (Labour Councillor and former President of the NUS), Charlotte Vere (No to AV Campaigner), Katie Ghose (Chair, Yes to AV) and Dominic Moffitt (Young No to AV Campaigner).
