i-MP Denis MacShane – Part 2

29th June, 2011

Denis MacShane Labour MP for Rotherham, gives you all an update on what he’s been up to since his last video diary. He gives us his views on the u-turns the government is making on the NHS bill, the weekly bin collection and the Welfare Reforms. A big issue which he is currently involved in is an all party group which aims to stop children watching internet porn. Their aim is to set up a new system which ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) will implement to stop children from as young as primary school age from logging. The new system will work by making the user have to prove their age to gain access to the site.

Denis also takes time out to answer a few questions like “Why did you get in to politics?” and also “How much importance do you place on factual and statistical accuracy in politics and political journalism?”  from our followers on Facebook and Twitter.

Please leave questions to be answered by Denis by:

We’ll collect the responses and present as many as we can for Denis MacShane to answer.

It is incorrect to refer to him as a Labour MP – he is currently an independent while his expenses from the previous parliament are investigated by the police…
