Street Politics Pilot: Siobhan Benita
13th February, 2012Would you go on a date with a politician? How about a political date?
In the first video of our Street Politics series, we take independent candidate for mayor Siobhan Benita on a political date with three young people as she courts their votes. Will Siobhan do enough to convince them? Will she do enough to convince you to vote for her?
Street Politics is supported by Operation Black Vote, The British Youth Council, The Hansard Society and The London Evening Standard.
In our most ambitious show yet, we get young people to put forward questions that are important to them. The young people have no script and the candidates have no idea what they will be asked. This series will feature the major candidates in the London Mayoral election. Watch more in this series »

Excellent – good to see a fresh take on current political issues.
Your excellent coverage of all candidates puts the BBC to shame. All voices need to be heard. @Siobhan4Mayor
