Image © Today I watch a video online, nothing out of the ordinary in our golden age of communication. What was out of the ordinary was the contents of this 30 minute video, which is why today I am writing about it for all to see and know about because this is a WORLD issue. Today I learned about a man named Joseph Kony; an invisible man in Africa with an ARMY of invisible children. As of 2005 he is considered the world's WORST war criminal by the International Criminal Court. His list of crimes against humanity include child kidnapping, sexual slavery, rape and child soldiers. Shockingly he has been committing these crimes for the last 26 years and still has not been captured. The aim of this blog is to help make Kony 'famous' - by shining the spotlight on him and his deeds, by making him known to the world, we can work to help the children who live in fear of him and bring him to justice. If you would like to know more on this issue I would suggest following the link at the beginning of this blog - it will give you all the information you need.

I support the cause of bring Kony to justice, however there are points to make beyond this.

It is also important to shine a light on the Invisible Children Family – please read this blog from around the time to campaign first started: http://ilto.wordpress.com/2006/11/02/the-visible-…. Before donating to any charity you should always check where your money is going to go.

Also Kony's LRA is a shell of its former self, why did nobody care years ago when the same thing was happening on a much greater scale?
