The House Episode 1

Here is the first episode of 'The House', a new bi-weekly series C21 is putting together for broadcast on the Community Channel. It won't be on the tellybox until next month, but the first episode is here in all its glory for your viewing pleasure.

The House is the flagship political programme for young people. Filmed right inside the House of Commons itself every other week, our team of dynamic presenters are challenging MPs and other guests on the big issues that are facing Britain’s youth. From tax to transport and the environment to education The House will have it covered. We’ll have a different presenter each time discussing topics with three MPs from each of main parties. We’ll also be giving you the opportunity to ask a question on each episode which you can send in via e-mail, text or video.’

This week, guest presenter Lee McConville talks to  Vernon Coaker MP, Tim Loughton MP and Sandra Gidley MP about a range of topics from violent song lyrics to the effects ofsmoking cannabis.

Tim Loughton said that the government have demonised young people. I have to disagree, surely it is the constnt negatvie portrayal of young people but the media. We never see any good news about young people these days and it is out there but sying that good news doesn't sell papers. The medi have far too much control on society and here's me thinking politicians where elected to control the country.

Great programme, can't wait for the next one.
