Focusing on the person, not the trauma

Catch21 is here to help young people with mental health issues by offering music therapies. We offer a safe space where there is no pressure to use words.

Focusing on the person, not the trauma

Catch21 is a charity to help young people experiencing emotional and psychological trauma who need a safe, non- judgemental space to work things through. We are here to help deal with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and feelings of isolation, lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem. We are emphatic and person-centred. We focus on the person and not the trauma, and always empower our clients to work through their issues at their own pace.

“Helping ease mental health difficulties through creative self-expression”

Our approaches

We are in the early stages of reinvigorating the Catch 21 charity and are starting off by offering Dance Movement Psychotherapy group sessions. Later we will be including other Creative Arts Therapies, such as art psychotherapy and drama therapy, along with practices such as yoga and therapeutic massage, which are known to support mental health and well-being. Our Approaches
“Creativity: a universal language that anyone can speak.”

Our practitioners

Our practitioners are experts in their field of psychotherapy, with hundreds of hours of clinical practice and total dedication to helping others. Get to know who runs the sessions through their biographies.
